DineKit: The Free Restaurant Menu Plugin for WordPress
Drag-and-drop menus, UK allergen labels, QR table cards and opening hours — free, fast and built by Web Level Up. Launching on WordPress.org.
DineKit: Beautiful Restaurant Menus, Free
DineKit is our new WordPress plugin for restaurants, cafés and pubs, and it gives away what other menu plugins charge for: a drag-and-drop menu builder, UK allergen labelling, printable QR table cards, opening hours and search-engine structured data. All of it free, all of it working on any theme, with zero dependencies.
We built it the way we build everything: fast, bloat-free and engineered properly. No WooCommerce required, no external accounts, no jQuery, no lock-in. Your menu lives in your WordPress site, owned by you.

UK Allergen Labelling Built In, Not Bolted On
Since Natasha's Law, allergen information stopped being optional for UK food businesses. DineKit ships with the 14 UK regulated allergens pre-loaded, each with its own icon, tooltips for diners, and a printable allergen matrix for your wall or your inspector. Tag a dish once and it's labelled everywhere: on the page, in the legend, on the matrix.
Dietary labels come built in too: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, halal and your own. Diners can even filter your live menu to show only what they can eat, and hide what they can't.
QR Menus Without the Monthly Subscription
The QR menu industry quietly turned a picture of a menu into a £20-a-month subscription. DineKit generates print-ready QR table cards, A6 cards and A4 posters, straight from your WordPress admin, pointing at your own live menu page. Update a price and every QR code on every table is already up to date.
No external QR service, no per-scan fees, no commission. Scans are tagged so you can see the traffic in your analytics.
A Menu Search Engines Can Actually Read
Most restaurant menus are PDFs or images that Google can't read. DineKit renders your menu as fast, clean HTML with schema.org structured data for the menu, every dish and your opening hours, the same markup search engines and AI assistants use to answer 'where can I eat near me' questions.
It's the kind of technical SEO other plugins sell as a premium add-on. DineKit ships it free, because we're an SEO agency and we couldn't bring ourselves to leave it out.
Why Free? What's the Catch?
There isn't one. DineKit is free because it's how we introduce ourselves. We're Web Level Up, a Cheltenham web agency, and we build commercial WordPress software for a living. Some restaurants will use DineKit forever and never pay us a penny, and that's fine. Some will want it installed, styled and looked after, or a whole website built around it, and that's where we come in.
The plugin will always be free and will never hold your menu hostage. If you uninstall it, your data stays yours.
Free on WordPress.org, Arriving Very Soon
DineKit v1.0 is finished, tested and currently in the official WordPress.org plugin review queue. The moment it's approved you'll be able to install it from your WordPress dashboard like any other plugin, and this page will link straight to it.
